Tranced Out is Taylor Sherman\u2019s archive of writing on hypnosis and the psychology of change, published from 2007 to 2014. I became interested in hypnosis as a teenager and spent the next fifteen-plus years going deep into the field: street hypnosis, instant inductions, Ericksonian methods, NLP, regression work, teaching, certifying more than a hundred practitioners, presenting at national conferences, and helping run a DC-area hypnosis community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I eventually went to graduate school for clinical mental health counseling, earned my M.Ed., became licensed, and now practice psychotherapy. I\u2019m keeping this site online because it is part of my professional story.
