This example is to be used on someone else. How I can to that on my self? I would like to use this method for self-hypnosis.

Also, how can I suggest to my self to improve my memory?
And on the end, if I hypnotize my self, how can I wake up my self?

You are ABSOLUTELY correct, the Elman should be taught FIRST! I wish I would have learned it first, now I almost hate progressive relaxation.

Another method for testing the following of directions is to put your finger on their forehead just below the hair line and ask them to close their eyes and look up at the spot where your finger is. Then tell them to keep looking at the spot and "just try" to open the eyes.
It is not possible to open your eyes if you keep looking at the spot. You have to lower your eyes first. If the eyes open they are not following directions
