Playing with visual/auditory language in the context of it’s use as an ambiguity, is very fun.

I came up with this earlier, practicing my language patterns:

“and it’s at that point… where a bridge of reality is created.”

And of course when you say “point” you point at yourself , and then you draw a bridge from you to them. (Read: these are playing with VISUAL submodalities)

“I want to line some things up in your mind.”

A highway… a desert path … lost in an amazon rainforest, loses track of time, nutrients makeup changes so body chemistry is altered, you hear a voice that draws you in to feel more confident.

So, now that you all understand better, I want to see some field reports.

Are you a hypnotist only in the room where you do hypnosis, or can you find yourself able to be a hypnotist in all of your life. Now the real kicker of this is: You get what you put into it.

You want to be good at hypnosis? You put in at least an hour, but ideally 2-4 hours, every day. You can find a way to get another hour into your day, trust me. Doesn’t matter how busy you are. Long term goals outshadow momentary urgency.

This means to practice your language every day. One of the reasons that we taught the Language Patterns Course was that we wanted to give people a structure by which they can learn hypnosis quickly, because one of the things we offered in that course was a plan of action for how to become an incredible hypnotist.

For example:

- Practice pacing someone’s rep system predicates.
- Whenever you listen to a conversation, notice how you can pick out certain key words that they lean on. Your job is to then repeat it back to them, and since it is their own words, it is irresistible.
- Practice using a specific word, like the word because (join the mailing list to get the free bonus audio on this).
- Become a master of that word. Then go learn other influential phrases. Before you know it, you will have built up a solid library of techniques and foundations, and other people will come up to you wondering how they can be you.
