Having too long of an induction might lose their interest, and they won't fully invest in the actual experiment/experience. I like the balloon and the book phenomena, and I use that quite a bit. Also, after the trigger and deepening techniques, I like to have their eyes become temporarily "stuck" shut, or their hands unable to de clasp.
